This site is powered by the NSI pseudo-framework, that is still under active development alongside this site as part of an extensive redesign. More content is forthcoming.

System evaluation
ANSIbench: A selection of classic and modern ANSI C benchmarking programs
ANSIbench is a small suite of portable ANSI C benchmarks, and programs I've found useful as benchmarks, packaged to allow for more convenient performance evaluation across as many platforms as possible. ANSIbench mainly runs on POSIX environments, but all included programs can easily be built on any platform with a C compiler and standard output.

NSI: The New Standard Index
Originally the NFINIT Standard Index. NSI is a single-script Perl HTML composer/pseudo-framework targeting both legacy and modern web servers that simplifies management of large static websites by enforcing common style and presentation across all pages within a hierarchical website, composing pages from HTML, plaintext and server-side executable script fragments.

JANUS: A multiplatform autonomous agent harness
JANUS is an experimental autonomous agent harness designed to allow AI agents to be instantiated on legacy and other unconventional targets as general assistance or mostly-autonomous agents. The primary goal of the JANUS project is to explore how AI models interact with unusual operating environments and/or open-ended deployments. JANUS implementation phases begin with rigorous human specification but are entirely implemented and tweaked by the models themselves to the best of their ability to introspect on "optimal" deployment and tooling.

Windows CE software
Windows CE was a relatively advanced operating system built by Microsoft for PDAs and embedded systems, bringing principles of workstation-class operating systems like Windows NT to the palm of your hand. While its Windows-like programming model was powerful, it also made developing good applications for these systems a challenge, and so the currently available archived and hobbyist software base still has many gaps, despite these devices having theoretical capabilities for many useful applications.
Our Windows CE projects aim to fill some key gaps in general productivity, and also serve as experiments for frontier AI capabilities in developing for unfamiliar platforms not often directly included in training corpus beyond documentation. All of our Windows CE projects are co-developed with various frontier AI models in through an extensive, incremental specification and test-driven process.
SQLite/CE: A relational database management system
SQLite/CE is an effort to develop a full-featured relational database for the Windows CE platform, based on a port of SQLite 2.8.17 to Windows CE 2.0 and later. SQLite/CE bundles a CE-compatible SQLite DLL with a frontend query editor and benchmarking harness to allow owners of CE PDAs to design, sketch and implement fully functional SQL databases directly on their devices, something largely missing from Windows CE's software base outside of mostly lost, expensive commercial solutions before.

Palmweaver: A generalist text editor
Palmweaver is a plaintext editor for Windows CE 2.0 and later, intended to fill the gap between plentiful simple Notepad clones and full-fledged word processors in CE's existing software base. Palmweaver includes a number of useful features such as line numbering, large (64K+) file support, full-screen mode, (primitive) theming and more, as well as a daily journaling through the Quick Note shortcut.

exospective: An arbitrary star chart generator
exospective is a Python-based tool for generating star charts from any arbitrary position in space, showing the night sky as it would appear from a given position in 3D space.
